What is a biostimulator?
A biostimulator is an injectable that works with your skin's own repair process. Once placed, it prompts the skin to produce new collagen and elastin over the following months, so the skin looks firmer and thicker and the face regains structure gradually.
A filler adds volume where it is placed. A biostimulator builds the skin's own support over time. The two are often planned together.
Which biostimulator is right for me?
- Calcium hydroxylapatite, 1 syringe (1.5 mL) for $699: a smooth gel that gives an immediate lift where it is placed, then stimulates collagen and elastin over the following months. Used on the cheeks, jawline and temples, and on the body.
- Poly-L-lactic acid, 2 vials for $799: restores facial volume gradually by stimulating collagen, for a change that builds over the months after treatment.
Your injector assesses your face at the consultation and recommends one, or a plan that combines it with filler or threads, for your goal.
