What does a chemical peel do?

A peel is a solution applied to the skin that loosens the outer layer of cells. As the skin renews, the surface looks smoother and brighter and the tone looks more even.

Light peels work on the surface, so you go back to your day right after. Light redness afterward is expected.

Which peel is right for my skin?

The clinic offers several peels, each suited to a concern: active acne, acne scars, pigmentation or overall brightness. Your practitioner looks at your skin type and skin tone, then chooses the peel and its strength.

Some formulas, such as TCA-based peels, renew the skin with very little visible flaking.
