Infrared sauna
· updated July 4, 2026
If you're considering trying an infrared sauna at ideal body for relaxation it is a great option! It is also recommended for chronic health problems, such as high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, dementia and Alzheimer's disease, headache, type 2 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis.
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to create heats on your body directly without warming the air around you versus traditional sauna that uses heat to warm the air. It also gives you similar results as moderate exercise, such as vigorous sweating and increased heart rate but at lower temperatures than does a regular sauna, which makes it accessible to people who can't tolerate the heat of a conventional sauna.
Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. Nothing here is medical advice — book a consultation and we will look at your case.
