Cosmetic teeth whitening
· updated July 4, 2026

Cosmetic teeth whitening is for those with healthy teeth and gums, but who have stains or a yellowish tint. All teeth whiten differently and your teeth cannot be made whiter than your genetic traits allow. This is a highly effective method of lightening the natural colour of your teeth. The starting shade of your teeth, lifestyle and genetics all play a part in the end results of your treatment. Our service will not whiten or damage veneers, crowns or false teeth. For best results avoid tea, coffee, red wine, dark sodas or curry for 24 hours after treatment. There is no guarantee how long the results will last. This depends on lifestyle and daily habits.
You will not experience any heat or discomfort from the light unit. On occasion some clients may feel a little tingling or gums may be sensitive for a short time after treatment. If you tend to have sensitive teeth we recommend Sensodine toothpaste for immediate relief. Possible white spots or demineralization may appear on patients who have had braces or who have porous enamel, but this should disappear within about 24 hours. If you have any concerns, please do not take the treatment.
Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed. Nothing here is medical advice — book a consultation and we will look at your case.
